Shane Larkin scored 18 points and finished with seven rebounds while the Panther defense shut down Tampa Prep in the last minute to earn a 47-5 victory.  DP (10-0) defeated Norfolk Christian, 52-43, in the opening round of the Tampa Hoops Classic and coupled with the victory over Tampa Prep, advances to tonight's semifinal game against five-time defending state champion Jacksonville Arlington Country Day at 6:15.

Against Tampa Prep, DP found themselves down by four after the first quarter but pulled even at 23-23 at the half.  A five point third quarter lead for DP faded in the fourth, but clutch threes by Larkin and Kerby Lubin (11 points) put them in a position to win.  In the final minute, Tampa Prep could not get off a good shot against the Panther defense and lost the ball out of bounds as the horn sounded.  Damani Cade finished with nine points, seven rebounds, seven steals and five assists.
