Sophomore Ashley Diedrich made the most of her first career start, finishing with 16 points and 15 rebounds, and senior Brittany Marshall notched a double-double of her own with 13 points and 17 rebounds as Women's Basketball drilled host Ocoee, 60-31. Sophomore Shya Garrett poured in 14 points with five assists and four steals as the Panthers move to 18-0 on the season. Tomorrow night will be their sternest test of the season as state power Pompano Beach Ely comes to the House of Payne in the final game of the Florida Prospects MLK Classic at 6:00. Ely is actually coach Anthony Jones' alma mater, his father is the assistant coach and cousin is the head coach. Last year the family showed little mercy, however, as Ely drubbed DP, 60-29. Women's JV Basketball cruised to a 65-15 victory over Ocoee to improve to 6-3 on the year. Jodi Branz and Nicholle Figueroa led the way with 16 and 14 points, respectively.
