Men’s Basketball traveled up to Ocoee last night for another district battle and the Panthers were clearly ready to play as they drubbed the host Knights, 80-55. Shane Larkin logged a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds, Damani Cade finished with 14 points, six rebounds and four steals while Kerby Lubin closed with seven points and seven rebounds. In fact, every player scored for DP. The Panthers (15-2) have now clinched the top seed for the District Tournament which begins February 9th at Wekiva. JV Men’s Basketball won their sixth straight game, 59-24, over Ocoee. Zach Pindar has another strong night with a team-high 20 points and Dwayne McCarter chipped in ten. DP (8-2) will host Freedom tomorrow morning at 11:30 AM, preceded by the 9th Grade game at 10:00.
