What was expected to be a closely contested matchup between Dr. Phillips and Boone quickly turned into a rout as Women’s Basketball jumped out to a 20-7 first quarter lead and never looked back in a 60-39 victory. Sydnei McCaskill was deadly from the arc, draining six of nine three pointers en route to a game-high 24 points to go with five assists and six steals. Lexi Brown scored 13 points in the first quarter alone and finished with 23 points, nine assists and six steals. Senior Brittany Marshall was a warrior defensively in the paint and closed with six rebounds. The Panthers are now 22-0 and will close out the regular season with games at Oak Ridge Monday, home vs. Winter Springs Wednesday and on the road at Father Lopez Friday.
