Friday night at the Freshmen / Sophomore meet at East River, Wrestling took home championships in three weight classes: Soham Desai at 135, Reid Woods at 140 and Lester Frank at 145. Aquarious Workman (135) and Chris Abad (285) placed third while TJ McLaughlin (119) and Jeancollins Joseph (112) placed fourth. Carlos Brown (215) and Cody Skoog (130) placed 6th to round out the scoring. Saturday at the Hutchins Memorial Tournament at Bishop Moore, Janz Lado captured the 125 pound title. Zach Whitmire placed second at 112, PJ Fronsdahl placed third at 130 and Jared Watkins was fourth at 119 as the team finished seventh overall. Up next is the Metro Conference Tournament Friday at Cypress Creek.
